Ege Seramik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., founded in Izmir in 1972 by İbrahim Polat, commenced production in 1975. The company prioritized infrastructure, technology, design, and quality standards, particularly in the 1990s. Today, it stands as one of the foremost companies in the sector, distinguished by its consistent investment, growth ambition, and sector innovations.

Ege Seramik boasts an annual production capacity of approximately 24.3 million square meters at its manufacturing facilities, which span an area of 416,752 square meters and are located 26 kilometers from Izmir Port in Kemalpaşa, Izmir.

Shares of the company have been publicly traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange since 1992, and in 2016, they began trading on the Stars Market.

Ege Seramik, a pioneer in the sector, significantly contributed to its development by introducing digital printing technology to the Turkish ceramic industry under the brand "Digital Tile by Ege Seramik" in 2009. The company continues to strive for excellence with the goal of producing products that mimic nature as closely as possible, encapsulated in the slogan "Perfect Nature, Perfect Beauty."

 

Ege Seramik was the first company in the sector to be awarded the ISO 9001 certificate. Additionally, it holds the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certificate, which ensures that production processes consider environmental impacts from the initial stage of the product to its presentation to the consumer.

Ege Seramik has ensured comprehensive safety documentation across various processes, including employee safety, management of warehouse and shipment areas, physical security of the plant, loading operations, electronic data circulation, and logistics, all verified by Global Security Verification (GSV).Ege Seramik has French Standard NF UPEC Certificate. Audition stages for the countries to which is exported have been concluded positively.

The company also holds the French Standard NF UPEC Certificate, and the audit processes for the countries to which it exports have concluded positively.

With the "TSE Double Star" certificate awarded by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), Ege Seramik's products have been verified to exceed the characteristics specified in Turkish, European, and American standards, surpassing the minimum requirements.

An Information Security Management System has been established by implementing the policies and procedures of the TSE ISO IEC 27001 standard. This system has heightened awareness among all employees and related parties and strengthened the protection of information resources.

In 2015, Ege Seramik held the opening ceremony for its production plants, the first environmentally-friendly facilities in Turkey that reduce natural gas consumption. The company continues to identify product groups that meet the expectations and needs of the developing market and consistently invests in this area. Ege Seramik has introduced several innovations, including Turkey's first eco-kiln, automatic guided vehicles, automatic sorting lines, pallet stacking robots, granule painting facilities, and pallet covering and striping lines.

Ege Seramik boasts a robust distribution network with over 150 dealers in the Turkish market and more than 2000 sub-dealers. Additionally, by exporting to more than 50 countries, the company continues to strengthen its presence in foreign markets. The needs of all markets are met with a continuously updated product portfolio that closely follows trends.
